Deadline: July 31, 2011
The Fellowship is designed to provide an educational experience covering all aspects of the management of patients with pain, and provide an opportunity to develop research and teaching activities for those who are interested. The program is accredited by ACGME and the American Board of Anesthesiology, and qualifies its graduates to sit for the Examination of Special Competence in Pain Management.
The UW Center for Pain Relief is operated by the UW Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, and consists of an aggregate with representatives from the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. Fellows will work with faculty trained in pain medicine, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, psychiatry and psychology, orthopedics, neurological surgery, internal medicine, radiology, palliative care and addiction medicine among other specialties.
