Scholarship Detail:
Avis Budget Group Summer Internship is a paid internship program that is hosted at the Avis Budget Group (ABG) corporate headquarters in Parsippany, NJ as well as Virginia Beach sites. The Avis Budget Group Summer program is a paid internship that will start in late May and will run approximately 10-12 weeks.
Interested applicants must be enrolled full-time at a Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The selected 2012 Avis Budget Group (ABG) fellows will participate in a 10-12 week summer internship. Interns must be available to work full-time throughout the entire length of the internship program. During the program, interns will be provided with a challenging, educational and rewarding experience that includes but not limited to assisting in the day to day operations of the assigned department, working on department projects, attending development workshops and “lunch n learns” with senior leadership team and participating in company sponsored/team building events. Each student will be paired with a mentor to enhance his or her personal and professional development. Upon successful completion of the internship, interns will receive a $5,000 need based scholarship award.
