The Curtin Science Excellence Scholarships are designed to reward and assist students who have demonstrated academic excellence through their ATAR in 2011 and want to pursue a career in science.
NO APPLICATION FORM REQUIRED – Please be advised that quotas apply for this scholarship. Up to 35 Curtin Science Excellence Scholarships will be awarded in 2012 and will be awarded in accordance to highest ATAR scores for ATAR’s over 96.
Candidates must be enrolling in their first semester of their first undergraduate degree in semester 1, 2012 into an eligible undergraduate science degree at Curtin University.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for a Curtin Science Excellence Scholarship:
# Receive an ATAR of 96 or above in 2011
# Have selected Curtin University as a first preference through TISC to undertake an eligible undergraduate science degree by the scholarship closing date
# Be undertaking the first semester of their first undergraduate degree at Curtin University in semester 1, 2012
# Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian or Permanent Resident visa
# Be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported place

# The scholarship(s) will be awarded by a selection panel using the following criteria: 2011 ATAR results
# Selecting an eligible Curtin University undergraduate science degree as first preference through TISC
# Receipt of an offer of a place into an eligible undergraduate degree at Curtin University in 2012
