Scholarship Mission: To provide scholarship assistance to the students within the College of Mathematics and Science majoring in Chemistry.
Value and Duration: The Hollister-Boeing Scholarship for Chemistry will award (1) student in the amount of at least $1,000 for one school year. The scholarship will be awarded depending on availability of funds.
Qualifications:
• 3.2 GPA or above
• Undergraduate chemistry student
• Working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry
• Must be an active member of the UCO Chemistry Club, as defined by faculty sponsor
Requirements: The recipient(s) of this scholarship must write a letter of thank you to Mr. Roger Hollister and turn it into the College of Mathematics and Science Dean’s Office, attention: Melody Hansen.
Enclosed are the College of Mathematics and Science scholarship application and information for the 2012-2013 academic year. The application is due no later than 5:00pm on February 15, 2012 in the Dean’s office, HOH 208. Only complete application packets will be eligible for review.
A complete application packet contains the following documents in this order:
1. Application Cover Sheet
2. Application Form
3. Current Transcripts (Official transcript from Transcript Kiosk in NUC, no web transcripts please)
4. Personal Statement (Instructions on Application Form)
5. Faculty Reference/Support Forms
Each scholarship application packet you submit for a department’s available scholarships must include copies of a completed application form, current transcript, and a personal statement. Faculty reference/support forms must be turned into the Dean’s office by the faculty members themselves. It is your job, however, to give them a
copy of the form.
Please visit the College of Mathematics and Science website during the semester to view and apply for scholarships that are established after timing of this printed copy.
