The Institute of Theoretical Physics Scholarship is available to a student who is interested in pursuing a career in physics and has demonstrated a high level of academic achievement.
# Eligibility:
ELIGIBLE COURSES Bachelor of Science majoring in (Physics) progressing and remaining enrolled in a double major in (Physics & Mathematical Science) or (Physics & Scientific Computing) in 2nd year.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for the Institute of Theoretical Physics Scholarship:
# Receive an ATAR of 98.00 or above, or have exceptional performance in Mathematics and Physics.
# Have selected Curtin University as a first preference through TISC to undertake an eligible science degree
# Be undertaking the first semester of their first undergraduate degree at Curtin University in semester 1, 2012
# Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian or Permanent Resident visa
# Be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported place

Criteria:
# The scholarship will be awarded by a selection panel using the following criteria: 2011 ATAR results
# Performance in Year 12 Mathematics and Physics
# Responses to questions in application
# Possibility of an interview by selection committee
# Receipt of an offer of a place into an eligible undergraduate science degree at Curtin University in 2012.
