2012/2013, Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) Fellowships

One fellowship is made available each year for applicants from ICI countries. Also in this case, the fellowship lasts four months and each fellow receives a stipend to cover travel expenses and the cost of his / her stay in Rome. Applicants should be citizens of partner countries in the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative. They are invited to submit proposals relating to the Gulf Security, by completing and forwarding their Application Form to NDC Research Division. The NATO Defense College currently offers five fellowships each year in the field of security policy research. The objective is to promote research and political consulting in areas of particular interest to the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC), to NATO’s partners in the Partnership for Peace (PfP), to NATO’s Mediterranean Dialogue (MD) partners and Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) partners.

Since the programme’s inception in 1993 and up until the end of 2010, the College has awarded a total of 69 fellowships.
