KLS invites applications for the Larry Grant Scholarship, established to commemorate the life and work of former Kent Law Clinic Legal Director Larry Grant. The scholarship provides up to £1,500 and tuition fees paid at the UK/EU rate for successful scholarship applicants who intend as part of an MPhil or LLM by research degree, to carry out research in the areas of clinical legal education, human rights, immigration or criminal justice with an aspect of law reform or social policy. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should normally have obtained, or be about to obtain an undergraduate degree of at least Upper Second Class Honours level (2:1 or equivalent from other countries), or a postgraduate degree.
How to Apply
Candidates must apply for a place to study for a postgraduate degree at the University through the online process at http://records.kent.ac.uk/external/admissions/pg_application.php. As part of their application candidates should supply a research proposal of no more than 1000 words, as well as a sample of their written work (not exceeding 5,000 words) and should include a letter making a case for the award of the scholarship.
