We are delighted to be able to offer one Polonsky Centenary Scholarship to an outstanding MPhil/PhD candidate from the United States or Israel.
This prestigious scholarship, which covers tuition fees and living expenses, is awarded on the basis of academic merit. Subject to satisfactory academic progress, the successful Scholar will be funded to complete a full-time doctorate at the IOE. These scholarships are not open to students currently registered on a research degree programme at the IOE.
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from prospective research students who are citizens of the United States or Israel wishing to undertake the MPhil/PhD at the IOE.
How to apply
The application process is in two stages.
First, apply to undertake MPhil/PhD studies at the IOE. You should make your application before 23 April 2012. Apply for your MPhil/PhD via our online application system, UKPASS.

The second stage will only apply to candidates who are offered a place to study at the IOE. Once you receive your offer, and if you wish to apply for the Polonsky Centenary Scholarship, please submit a completed form to the Doctoral School by 25 May 2012.
