Award: $1,000 ($500 Fall 2012 and Spring 2013)
Criteria:
- Women who are “re-entering the job market”
- Full or part time, must take atleast 6 hours per semester
- Graduate or undergraduate
- Must maintain “3.0″ average each semester
- Current Free Application for Federal Student Aid on filr at UHCL
Appicant must provide the following information:
- Completed scholarship application
- Official transcript from UHCL or most current prior school
- A letter stating why you are re-entering the job market. Discuss how you are going to develop new skills or techniques for today’s work force, and your academic and career goals. Also discuss outside activities/ organizations you have been involved in, and your responsibilities in those organizations. (12.0 font – double spced, maximum 2 pages)
- A Financial information section to be completed by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
