The William C. Moloney, MD Research Fellowship provides first-year medical students enrolled at Boston, Harvard or Tufts medical schoosl a chance to do summer research in the areas of hematology or oncology. The applicant’s sponsor must be from Brigham & Women’s Hospital, and the project must be completed at Brigham & Women’s. Moloney applicants are eligible to apply for the Betty Lea Stone Fellowship, as well. This fellowship offers a $5,000 stipend.
Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled at Boston University, Harvard or Tufts medical school.
Students must have selected a faculty sponsor who will work with him or her to write a proposal for a summer research project.
Each candidate must submit copies of two letters of recommendation previously obtained for application to medical school.
Minority students and students with American Cancer Society volunteer experience are encouraged to apply.
