Scholarship in Ecology, Evolutionary and Environmental Biology
Annual scholarship for an undergraduate student actively pursuing his or her education and who shows promise for going on to graduate study in ecology, evolutionary or environmental biology.
Award:
-$400 for academic year 2011-2012
Eligibility:
-Junior or Senior class standing in a major administered by the EEOB dept. (Biology and Genetics)
-Minimum ISU GPA of 3.0
Application:
-Due March 11, 2011
-Submit application materials to 103 Bessey Hall
-Must include:
- letter of recommendation from an ISU faculty member
- a resume
- an unofficial ISU transcript
- a brief statement describing intended area of graduate study, as well as university-level participation in experience relating to career goals- research experience, independent study, internships, field trip course experience, etc.
